The inspiration for "Autumn Gold", an etching I created in 1988, was an old building in Newbury, MA. The building was painted muted red color the last time I saw it and the tall maple trees were no longer there; but it certainly was lovely that first autumn day I came across it with the golden maples lit in the bright sunshine. The edition sold out long ago. |
