This drypoint etching with watercolor was created in 1971, inspired by the beautiful scenery seen on our first cross country trip in the fall of 1970. After having a wonderful summer in Rocky Neck, MA we packed up the station wagon and headed west visiting galleries and selling our etchings along the way to CA on a northern route, and back along a southern route. We enjoyed seeing the country and being on the road for 6 weeks and made the trip each spring and fall for the next two and a half years.

Copper plate is 4"x6", this is numbered 23/100, signed "C. Collette", no title. Ample borders, printed on Rives BFK.
