happiness, of calm and well-being, of warm and carefree days come.
I could explore the New England countryside endlessly, always sure
of coming across another commonplace but joyous scene such as
this: rolling hills, carefully tilled fields, neat simple homes with a flower
bed of irises and a profusion of green in the lush grass and majestic
maple trees. It’s as if nature, to the soft background music of
songbirds and cicadas, were showing us it’s finest. |
