leaves, squirrels gathering acorns in preparation for the long winter months to
come with it’s promise of snow. By late autumn the lush palette of spring and
summer has been pared down to its basics; the reds and burnt umbers of fallen
leaves, some green that will remain until the first blanket of snow, and the white
barns and houses, nestled so fittingly in this New England landscape. |
